Rental car in Portugal
You don´t need a rental car in Peniche, but it will make your life easier and you can surf more.
In Lisbon you will find all the usual car rental companies. It is always better and cheaper to book early over the internet. In the off season you can get a car as cheap as 10€ per day, last minute in summer time can cost you more than 50€ per day.
At the budget companies’ stands inside the airport you can wait up to 3 hours even if you prebooked your car. The big ones like six are much more professional.
Inter Rent at Santa Apolónia train station has cheap days. Now they are at the airport as well.
You can also rent a car at the local car-Dealer in Peniche. AJulio is right after Molhe Leste roundabout.
